Maggie room
A sophisticated, luxurious feel in warm gold and yellow colors

The Maggie room is located on the first floor on the northeast side. You will savor the exceptional height under ceiling, as well as a magnificent period parquet floor, luxurious fireplaces, wall fabrics as you enter from an antechambre. A living room with two armchairs and a long Empire-style sofa as well as a desk and four large cupboards are at your disposal.

The toilet is located in a separate room linked to the bedroom. Adjoining the room itself, you can enjoy a small accompanying lounge with seating and a balcony with views of the entire park in front of the castle.

The room was named after one of the three Stephens sisters who lived at Huseby Castle in the late 19th century in Småland, southern Sweden. For more than 13 years, as current owners of Château du Breuil, we have had the pleasure of living in a manor which belonged to Miss Maggie Stephens between 1936 and 1958. As part of this beautiful manor, which we also operate in rooms of guests, we have received many guests. Therefore, we thought this would be a great tribute to this lady
